This beautiful sneaker is the result of an inspiring story. Gramps began as a shared hobby between Jannik Diefenbach and his grandfather Alojz Abram. At Christmas 2016, they started taking photos of Alojz in streetwear, posted them on social media and quickly became a viral phenomenon with this unique look. Alojz earned the nickname "Gramps" thanks to the growing number of followers, currently over 5.2 million on TikTok and 2.5 million on Instagram. For Jannik, who wore KangaROOS as a child, emotional connections and precious memories are an important part of fashion. For this reason, carefree childhood memories of summer vacations on the beach are the source of inspiration for the GRAMPS x KangaROOS sneaker.
