Everything looks better with a swoosh

What was originally not entirely to the taste of Nike founder Phil Knight, would later become an unimaginable icon in the sports and fashion world. This is of course the well-known Swoosh Logo of Nike, the sports shoe manufacturer that has been providing several major athletes with the most innovative sneakers since 1964 (then under the name Blue Ribbon Sports). They have always been innovative. Their Nike Waffle in particular, the first sole of which was literally made under a waffle iron, attracted a lot of attention, but at the same time a large positive audience among athletes.

Today, Nike is still known for the groundbreaking and innovative character that they strongly emphasize in their shoes and sportswear. An excellent example is of course the Air Max, with which Tinker Hatfield, led by Nike, amazed the world with a transparent shoe sole filled with air. Of course it didn't stop there, because after several success stories of these sneakers, everyone became curious about more. More air soles soon followed, like today's Vapor Max, in addition to their other groundbreaking ideas like the self-tying laces of the Back to the Future -inspired Air Mags.

The Travis Effect

Like many other brands, Nike has also entered the lifestyle scene after a successful career. When their sneaker model Cortez and Air Max 1 came, an era began that turned the entire sneaker world upside down. Nowadays, Nike has collaborated with all kinds of other parties all over the world and it is little surprise when some of these legendary end products sell for thousands of euros.
