Every year Mizuno challenges an artist to collaborate on a special-edition running sneaker. This year they challenged Pieter Ceizer.
Ceizer is a Dutch typographic artist and designer who lives and works between Paris and Amsterdam. The sneakers designed by Mizuno and Ceizer are for running and lifestyle.
The colors are inspired by the memories of running in the sunny Vondelpark. He says: ''There is nothing like a summer in the Netherlands''. The blue and mint colors symbolize the green canals in Amsterdam and the yellow and orange colors represent the sunshine.
