Simple and bold, Piet Parra (1976) is famed for his colorful typographic artwork, along with the retro curves and playful themes of his illustrations. His clothing brand Rockwell features the same bright, unusual palette that made top companies like Nike and Volkswagen hire Piet Parra. Rockwell only releases a couple of collections each year. Artist Parra is best known for his curved post-Pop imagery, highly saturated colours, vibrant hand-drawn letters and worlds inhabited by hybrid, surreal characters. Celebrated by galleries and championed by an underground following from the outset.
